Abstract

The article analyzes the functions of school literary criticism, substantiates its role in the development of literary and creative abilities of students of the main school, the problem of activating the mental activity of students in the process of assimilation of literary and artistic works, in particular by using school literary criticism as a type of student literary and artistic creativity.
