Abstract

In the article is being actualizing the problem of the culturological approach in the school literary education in the context of the tasks of the New Ukrainian School. The schoolbook for Ukrainian literature (standard level) for 11's form is considered as an effective means of developing the key general cultural competence of pupils -readers.
