Abstract

The article deals with the issues of teaching informatics using the competence approach, the essence of the concepts "competence" and "competency" clarified. The tasks to the content of the educational material on informatics formulated based on the competence approach. Attention is focused on the study of the basic module of computer science in high school at the standard level. The methodical aspects of studying the main four topics of the informatics course at the lyceum at the level of the standard are revealed.
