Abstract

The article is structurally composed of two parts: 1. The theoretical, which contains information about the hypotheses put forward by the students; what they are; how to build them; which are exercises to develop the ability to put forward hypotheses. 2. The methodological part demonstrates the implementation of these theoretical foundations in the methodology of student research in the analysis of the novel V. Pidmohylny "City". It is emphasized that constructing hypotheses by students is the basis of research, creative thinking.
