Abstract
Based on the empirical research, the authors analyze different aspects of and differences in commercial organization employees' assessments of the role of money in their lives. The article discusses the relationship between the commercial organization employees' assessments of the role of money in their lives and the employees' socio-demographic (age, marital status, children, gender) and organizational-professional characteristics (level of education, total work experience, length of work in a company, position in an organization). The authors also discuss different ways of optimizing commercial organization employees' attitudes toward money, which are aimed at the formation of employees' attitudes towards money as a means of satisfaction of their both basic material needs and professional and cultural development needs, social image and status needs, health preservance and leisure needs, etc. as well as a means of satisfaction not only of their families and close people's needs, but also of their own needs and the needs related to harmonious development of employees of all age groups, both men and women, in different areas of life and the satisfaction not only of current, but also future needs (personal, family and close people's) including both pragmatic and altruistic needs, etc.
