Abstract
The article presents an analysis of organizational and psychological factors of the development of and conditions for overcoming social tension in educational organizations. It has been shown that the leading factors in the development of social tension in educational organizations include the lack of teaching staff's work and professional development motivation, the urgency of work tasks and the economic crisis in the country. It has been found that the teaching staff are aware of the importance of and their role in the timely identification of the problems that cause social tension in the organization. However, there is a certain imbalance between the teaching staff's awareness of the significance of the problems identification and the problems solution, as well as between the roles of the teaching staff and an expert group in these processes.
