Abstract
The paper presents the results of a study, what level of mastering the elements of critical thinking pupils have. School practice requires the development of technology forming critical thinking of pupils in the learning process, using set of different teaching methods that encourage students to creative activity, create conditions for awareness of educational material, summarizing the knowledge gained.
