Abstract
Object of research - the process of formation of competences of students on natural and mathematical subjects. The subject of research - a system of computer modeling of cognitive tasks for the development of students' competences in natural and mathematical subjects. The purpose of the research is to theoretically substantiate the scientific and methodological foundations of computer modeling of cognitive tasks for the development of students' competencies and to develop a method for their use in the educational process. In the first stage, the systematization of world and domestic experience, tendencies of the development of general secondary education, based on the use of computer modeling, synthetic educational environment as a component of the formation of the subject competences of high school students, was analyzed and implemented. The essence of the basic definitions is analyzed and the conceptual-terminological apparatus of the research is specified. A conceptual model of CModS has been developed, which includes the following components: mathematical, animation, graphic and strategic. It is substantiated and proposed the definition of a new concept of "computer modeling system" (CModS) as software tools for animation visualization of phenomena and processes, the construction of action strategies, the implementation of numerical calculations of any level of complexity and aimed at illustrating and solving various problems. The advantages of using CModS for designing research tasks are highlighted; The stages of development of research tasks by the teacher and the course of solving the research problem by the students of the secondary school are determined. The types of cognitive tasks (applied, research, creative) are substantiated and defined. A reasonable classification of models is based on the following parameters: use, branch of knowledge, mode of presentation of models, implementation method, character of the modeling side of the object, time factor. The peculiarities of using CModS for the purpose of development of the secondary school environment are substantiated. A pilot survey of subject teachers was conducted on the use of CModS in the educational process.
