Abstract
The article describes a nobleman of Polish descent, Felix F. Movchanivskyi and its activities. Stated that this was a man of restless disposition. He eagerly took up the solution of urgent problems of the time. He had a reformist and educational views. Because of this, in his career, he wanted good for his fellow citizens. Public work was his life. In charity he did not reckon with their own material costs. The article describes the history and development of the institution. It first appeared in the native and world pedagogical practice. There is no analogue today. It Aleksander school-farm for deaf children. The school was known all over the world. Learning the deaf language and professional training of pupils was carried out at a high level. This was confirmed by significant results. This was not achieved at the time any such establishment in the Russian Empire. The article describes the farm and its educational activities.
