Abstract

The article presents the results of the theoretical analysis of the stylistic approach to the personal characteristics of the integral individuality as a holistic hierarchical system. Styles are considered as one of the levels of determination of personality traits and regulators of personality behavior and with a large variety of external manifestations, general, generic properties are shown. Despite the presence of common genital traits in styles, a wide range and differences in the understanding of styles are highlighted. The subject areas of styles, namely, emotional, intellectual, and activity are highlighted. Types of emotional styles and their different approaches to their definition are described. It is emphasized that emotional styles and emotional intelligence are not so much two different subjects, but different approaches and different scientific traditions in the study of emotional styles, on the one hand, cognitive and value regulatory mechanisms, on the other. It is proved that different people have different emotional styles, which represent a combination of emotional reactions and experiences that are different in appearance, intensity.
