Abstract
The methodological manual deals with the organization of research activities of students of the main school of world history, in particular, theoretical principles are revealed and practical tips for teachers are presented. In the first section of the manual, the state of the problem research in the scientific-methodical literature is analyzed theoretically and the methodical principles of organization of research activity in the process of teaching history in the basic school are revealed. An important point for teachers-practitioners is that in the work the role of a teacher in the conditions of research training is revealed in detail, and the theoretical positions are grounded by the results of the experiment. The second section of the manual reveals a competency-activity approach to constructing research tasks in history and explains the methodology of working with various historical sources in the context of research studies; provides the necessary advice for teachers on the formation of students' research and subject-specific historical competencies. The implementation of the methodological manual will facilitate the effective organization of research activities of primary school students in the process of studying world history. For teachers of the history of institutions of general secondary education of Ukraine, as well as for specialists who are interested in new technologies in education, students of pedagogical universities.
