Abstract

The manual deals with theoretical and practical research of the methodology of teaching the syntax of the Ukrainian language of students of grades 8-9 on the basis of personally oriented, activity and competence approaches. Considerable attention is paid to the characterization of methods, techniques, forms and means of teaching the Ukrainian language syntax for students of grades 8-9. Particular attention is paid to text work in the Ukrainian language lessons in a competency-based approach. The author's methodology for learning the syntax of the Ukrainian language for students of grades 8-9 is presented. The manual is addressed to teachers of the Ukrainian language, students of philological faculties, postgraduate students and teachers.
