Abstract
The point of one of the G. Ball’s incomplete developments was that on the basis of the concept of personality structure by F. Lersh and using the ST-method to offer a description of psychological difficulties in realization of ethical components of the meaning of life. In F. Lersh conception of personality structure the «external», «internal spontaneous» and «internal controlled» components are distinguished. These three com-ponents of the personality can be considered as psychic modi, and ethical collisions of realizing the meaning of life can be classified and further analyzed by describing processes involving these modi. The methodology of concretization of this idea is presented in the article: the main types of ethical collisions are highlighted; it is shown how they can be more detail analyzed.
