Abstract
The experimental textbook corresponds to the current Ukrainian language curriculum for Grade 5, built on the basis of competency, personally oriented approaches. The exercises, tasks and questions presented in it form a holistic didactic system characterized by an orientation towards achievement the end results provided by the curriculum, the continuity between the tasks, the consistency of the sequence and the content of the tasks of the logic of assimilation of the linguistic material, the continuity of influence on the formation of language skills and abilities in students, the faculty in all types of speech activity, taking into account life situations. For students of the 5th form of general educational establishments with Ukrainian language of instruction.
