Abstract
The content of the concepts of "universal design" and "universal design in education" is revealed; the main principles of universal design are substantiated; the areas in which individuals exhibit the greatest variability, dissimilarity, and individual characteristics are characterized. The recommendations of foreign scientists on attracting students into the educational process, representing the educational material and forming students' ability to demonstrate educational achievements on the basis of universal design are suggested. Examples of tools that would contribute to the implementation of these recommendations are provided.
