Abstract

In the article presents the results of the study of the influence of identification "client- psychotherapist" on the development of Ukrainian identity in internally displaced persons and their perception by representatives of Ukrainian society. Presumably this identification is a composite of psychotherapeutic processes. Separately, the influence of socio-cultural attitudes on internally displaced persons and the peculiarities of their sociocultural adaptation were studied. It is shown that the processes of identification "client-therapist" contribute to the development of Ukrainian IDPs internally displaced persons. However, no link was found between the presence of Ukrainian identity and the type of sociocultural adaptation. It has been shown that psychotherapeutic relationships positively influence the adaptation of internally displaced persons. Thus, persons with the identification of "client-psychotherapist" are more confidently perceive the representatives of the Ukrainian population, are more inclined to the sociocultural strategy of "assimilation", are willing to join the Ukrainian society. It is revealed that socio-cultural attitudes about "typical Ukrainian" influence the sociocultural adaptation of internally displaced persons. Thus, the image of the Ukrainian as an active and enterprising person made it difficult for the sociocultural adaptation of the "integration" type. The perception of internally displaced ethnic Ukrainians as "competent" contributes to socio-cultural adaptation by type of integration and reduces the frequency of using the "separatism" strategy. It is revealed that the perception of the "typical Ukrainian" as autonomous is connected with the adaptation of internally displaced persons by the type of "marginalization" and does not contribute to the formation of Ukrainian identity, and recommendations for the mass media on the formation of the image of Ukrainian, which would facilitate better adaptation of internally displaced persons.
