Abstract
The dissertation is devoted to the study of internal factors of intrapersonal conflicts in oncohematological patients with the aim to improve of psychological support for such patients. The study was performed in the main group of 62 oncohematological patients and in the control group of 73 health persons. Depressive, paranoid, schizoid, obsessive-compulsive personality traits, high emotional control, traumatic attachment were found more frequently in the main group. Conflicting combinations of personality traits has been revealed based on methodologies of L. M. Sobchik and F. Alexander. Intrapersonal contradictions were found more often and they were more profound in oncohematological patients than in healthy individuals. The most typical contradictory combinations in patients were: obsessive-compulsive and paranoid traits; paranoid and depressive traits that due the traumatic attachment; histrionic-narcissistic and depressive-obsessive traits; aggressive and depressive-obsessive traits; schizoid and obsessive-compulsive traits that due the traumatic attachment. Conflicting combinations of personality traits correlated with psychological distress; also correlations with some intrapersonal conflicts in patients and complications of treatment were found. Thus, it was confirmed that contradictory combinations of personality traits are the main content of intrapersonal conflict and exacerbation of the conflict has a negative impact on treatment. The recommendations on psychodiagnostics of the controversial combinations of personality traits were proposed. The main aspects of psychological support of oncohematological patients were considered.
