Abstract

The content of the term "dactylology" as a form of spoken language, which represents the system of movements for communication using fingers, its origin, is described. The paper explores the historical aspect of the dactylology development. The authors of the first dactyl ABC books are marked. The author analyzes the development of the Ukrainian dactyl alphabet and represents its images.
