Abstract
In the hybrid warfare, the global information space as well as the domestic one is polluted with negative and destructive information. Therefore, a citizen has to be protected from the outside and be capable of opening up psychological reserves for active opposition to this impact. The paper considers the issues of the impact on a reader and a spectrum of manipulation through printed media. The article outlines the importance of a dialogue between a psychologist-author and a client-reader in the search of reserves of self-help under crisis conditions. The focus is on personal autonomy and on the significance of considering its subjective quality while giving psychological aid to a person in order to preserve their personality and their resistance to manipulation via written text.
