Abstract
The article examines the problems of an adaptive approach to knowledge control in vocational and technical education institutions. Adaptive tests in this case allow solving many issues and can be effectively used to solve any tasks of optimizing the educational process - assessing the effectiveness of pedagogical innovations and technologies and monitoring.
