Abstract

Internationalization is a global phenomenon, it is considered a priority for the development not only of the system of higher education, but also of society as a whole. However, you can observe common goals and objectives, for example, the value of reputation (often symbolized by the rating), visibility and competitiveness; competition for talented students and scientists; short-term and / or long-term economic benefits; demographic aspects; emphasis on international recruitment of graduates and social activity. As a result of the analysis of the internationalization of higher education in these countries, ten key trends have been identified: the growing importance of internationalization at all levels; influence of national strategies of internationalization on institutional; insufficient financing of education; increasing the number of private institutions and commercialization of educational services; the impact of globalization; growing competition; the growing role of regionalization; lack of data; new directions of development of internationalization (digital education).
