Abstract
The article deals with combatants' full social integration and the ways to facilitate it. A lot of individuals' problems are related to their value-semantic sphere. Under extreme conditions the hierarchy of personal values undergoes significant changes forming a unique system of values that allow people to survive the war and interact effectively with others in accordance with the situation. It has been found that the devaluation of values in crisis conditions inevitably leads to the mental condition that can be defined as maladjustment. If combined with other adverse factors this can cause depressions, neuroses or borderline states followed by suicidal acts or serious mental disorders. Given this, it appears to be reasonable for psychologists to work with combatants' value-conceptual sphere during their rehabilitation.
