Abstract
The aim of the article is to study the upbringing of meaningful values in students of the main and senior schools. The article reveals the concept of meaningful values. The course of experimental work in general educational institutions of Ukraine is covered, which covered 1232 students of the basic and senior schools, of which 422 are junior teenagers, 398 are senior teens and 412 are senior pupils. Based on the diagnostic and statistical methods of research (survey, pedagogical observation, ranking, expert evaluation), the mathematical and statistical processing of the results of the study, as well as the criteria (cognitive, emotional value, volitional, activity-practical), the levels of upbringing (active, constructive, dependent and passive) students in primary and senior schools. The practical significance of the article is that its ideas and conceptual provisions can be expanded and used in other studies on this issue; the obtained experimental data can be used in monitoring, comparison and analysis of results, as well as in the development and implementation of techniques and technologies in other countries.
