Abstract
In the article scientifically grounded tendentious character of development of subject method. The retrospective review of acquisitions of method of studies of Ukrainian literature is presented in relation to realization of ideas of the personality oriented studies. Maintenance of school literary education is analysed from the period of educational reform in 1984 and to beginning of ХХ century in the noted context. Certainly theoretic-methodical subsoil for the decision of modern tasks of the personality oriented studies of Ukrainian literature in general educational establishments: an account of individual queries of students, their cognitive possibilities and process control of study of literature, is at school (beginning of ХХ century); determination of purpose, maintenance and methods of developing studies, is on the lessons of literature (beginning of ХХ century); studies and education of personality by facilities of art of word (60th ХХ century); features of individual artistic perception and basic types of analytic-synthetic work of students are during working of work (70th ХХ century); spiritually moral and aesthetically beautiful education of students in the process of study of Ukrainian literature (80–90th ХХ century); forming of national consciousness, spiritual world, moral and domestic values of personality, is on the lessons of Ukrainian literature (beginning of ХХI century); the competition approach to the studies of Ukrainian literature (beginning of ХХI century); realization of inter-subject studies of Ukrainian literature on existential-dialogic principles (beginning of ХХI century); development of creative of teacher-philologist (beginning of ХХI century).
