Abstract
The use of information and communication technologies in the education system, changing didactic means, methods and forms of teaching, affects pedagogical technologies, thereby transforming the traditional educational environment into a qualitatively new information and educational environment. In connection with this, a number of topical problems arise in pedagogical science and practice related to the widespread introduction and use of information and communication technologies in education. Among them, one of the most significant is the evaluation of the effectiveness of using modern teaching technologies in the educational process, in particular, information communication technologies. Solving this problem requires the selection and justification for these purposes of indicators and performance criteria that allow appropriate pedagogical measurements. Unfortunately, at present there is no single approach to solving this problem. The article analyzes the approaches to assessing the effectiveness of the information and educational environment of education in modern studies. It is established that the information and educational environment of training will be able to ensure the quality of educational outcomes only if the resources and tools included in it are used effectively: the effectiveness of using information and communication technologies lies at the basis of the quality of such an environment.
