Abstract
In the article the authors describe the problem concerning of the examination of textbook of Ukrainian language for 8th grades of secondary schools. Authors described progressive aspects, related on ideas variability school textbooks. This is about the negative aspects of implementing the idea of variability of school textbooks, are presented the requirements for the textbook of Ukrainian language as of the training textbook. And are concretized problems, whose solution will positively affect the quality of the variability of textbook. Authors also touched upon the issue concerning improvement of criteria of analysis school textbook. Authors formulate the requirements for expert opinions, concerning the specific subject of training; they analyze of the information and other materials examination 10 of textbooks of Ukrainian language for 8 grades that in 2016 were submitted to the competition of textbooks. It was discovered of shortcomings and classified them. It is about causes of errors authors in the creation process of textbooks for secondary school pupils. Authors determined the positive moments and constructive proposals that have been made by the experts to improve the quality of textbooks. In the article reveals the other strengths expert opinions. The authors also point out mistakes experts which they admit in the process of evaluating textbooks. Describe the causes of these errors. They suggest the ways raising the professional level of experts. This will positively affect the learning process experts underthe auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the direct participation of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and Institute of Pedagogy NAPS of Ukraine. In this article are formulated proposal to improve the process of examination of school textbooks.
