Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze, summarize and sys¬tematize the universities and IT companies achievements aimed at educational, scientific and organizational automation of the university, to require the information and analytical systems management of universities. The current state off ICT use in the universities management is defined and some problems that exist in this area are singled out. The existing approaches to rou¬tine processes automation of the most of the modern universities are analyzed. The main purpose and problems of the universi¬ties automated control systems are determined A comparative analysis of the universities automation systems that were most commonly used by Ukrainian universities is done. The basic requirements for an automated control university system arc outlined. It is found that the Web-based management university systems are the most successful.
