Abstract

The article discusses the concept of informatization of education, which is associated with an introduction of computer algebra software package into the education system of engineering students. There are considered the conditions necessary for increasing the quality of education through ICT. The article discusses some of the more popular CAS packages, such as Maple, Mathematica, Mathcad, Derive.
