Abstract
Biology curriculum for primary school children with mental retardation (grades 6-7) developed according to the main provisions of the State standard of basic and complete secondary education and concluded on the basis Biology Programme for secondary schools establishments 6-9 classes. In educational objectives, the program implemented remedial developmental tasks associated with features of mental sphere student with mental retardation adolescence that specifies the orientation of correctional and developmental work.Program in Biology is designed with the following semantic lines: diversity and evolution of the organic world; biological nature and social nature of man; level of wildlife. The content incorporated functionally integrated, system-structural, environmental, historical and comparative approaches. Teaching material contained in a program line-concentric principle based on the leading semantic lines in the following order: cell, single-celled organisms, plants, fungi, animals, people, the foundations of Systems Biology (modern analogue of general biology, including the question of biochemistry, cytology, genetics, developmental biology, the theory of evolution, phylogeny basics, basics of ecology).
