Abstract
Information society fundamentally changes the attitude of the state of scientific knowledge for growth due to the fact that it is the social aspects of its operation, the role and position of man in it are crucial for its successful operation. Industrialism, materialism, positivism demonstrate their suitability only for the functioning of industrial society. There is quite a powerful social layer unrecognized esoteric knowledge that is important for the individual and civilization have the necessary information for potential deployment of new research directions. Esoteric knowledge provides information, yet unknown to modern science, other ways of life and characters in the world, other relationships between society and nature, other approaches to finding and building knowledge. Types of esoteric knowledge act as certain modalities of knowledge that have functional significance in a particular environment. They perform an important function in their personal behavior and public regulation.
