Abstract
The article highlights the main problems and contradictions of the introduction of multimedia technology in preschool education. The concept of ‘multimedia technology’ is defined. The advantages of using these technologies in the context of inclusive education are defined, such as: poly-sensority of material perception, the ability to influence different sensory zones; promotion of basic mental processes (thinking, memory, attention, imagination, speech, etc.); possibility of demonstrating objects, phenomena and processes that are not available in everyday life (space objects, natural phenomena, objects of microcosm et al.); visualizing abstract information; Illustrating and emotional coloration of demonstrated material and so on. The main types of multimedia technologies, suitable for use in inclusive groups in pre-school institutions are described: multimedia presentation, educational game program, animated film. The characteristics of these tools are given, their peculiarities and place in educational process are outlined. It is noticed that preschool age is a sensitive period that laid for children’s foundations of knowledge, concepts, ideas formation. And attracting children to a quality educational environment from an early age has a positive impact on their further training and socialization. It is concluded that with the introduction of multimedia technology, every child would be able to access various didactic materials in a convenient format, to overcome barriers to education, and become successful.
