Abstract

The article devoted to the history and experience of the Institute of Information technologies and Learning Tools of NAPS of Ukraine for 1999–2014 years. Analyzed the basic scientific achievements and results of the staff of the Institute. Described the process of creating a new scientific specialty 13.00.10 — information and communication technologies in education for the informatization of education. Specified the role of the Institute of Information technologies and Learning Tools of NAPS of Ukraine in Informatization of Education in Ukraine.
