Abstract
The paper presents some results of the analysis on the international experience for studying theoretical bases for the development of the contemporary university rhetoric-communicative culture as an integrative factor in the formation of the academic elite. They are based on the attempts of the revealed domestic and foreign interdisciplinary activities in 2015 on rhetoric, oratory, speech communication culture in the framework of which a discourse on important educational issues in Ukraine, Europe and the world has been actively implemented. This allows identifying the geographical places of dislocations of established scientific schools, to determine the main directions and tasks for rhetoric science initiatives and expand the list of bibliographical sources and thematic research interests of rhetoricians – representatives of the university and the academic elite at the beginning of the XXIst century in many countries.
