Abstract
The article presents the results of a study on entrepreneurial self-efficacy of staff of educational organizations as a factor in the development of their entrepreneurial activity. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy is considered as a measure of individuals’ belief in their ability to do the work, to solve problems and perform tasks, as well as belief in having the necessary competences for the successful achievement of the objectives of entrepreneurial activity. The author analyzes the levels of entrepreneurial activity and entrepreneurial self-efficacy of staff of educational institutions. Educational organization staff’s entrepreneurial self-efficacy was found to be averagely developed. In innovative educational organizations, the levels of development of entrepreneurial self-efficacy were shown to be higher compared to the traditional educational organizations. The investigation found the relationship between the levels of development of educational organization staff’s entrepreneurial self-efficacy and the levels of development of their entrepreneurial activity. The author notes that further research may focus on the development of special training programs to improve entrepreneurial educational organization staff’s self-efficacy.
