Abstract

In the textbook the results of psychological studies of the effect of oral folk arts on the development of junior pupils’ ability are presented. The author's model of value-reflexive regulation of primary school pupils’ academic ability and the program of axiological support of the development of junior pupils’ ability by means of oral folk arts are given. The expediency of application of Ukrainian proverbs and sayings in the educational process of primary school is substantiated. The textbook is intended for students of "Psychology", "Practical Psychology", "Primary education" fields of education. The book can be useful for psychologists, teachers and parents who are bringing up children of preschool and junior school age.
