Abstract

Botnet (English botnet.) - A computer network consisting of a number of hosts from running bots - standalone software. Most often, the boat as part of a botnet is secretly installed on the victim's computer and allows attackers to perform certain actions using the infected computer software resources. Commonly used for illegal activities or disapprove - spam, brute force password on the remote system, Denial of service, but the same can also be used for good purposes, such as distributed computing.
