Abstract

The thesis is devoted to the problem of geoinformation technology usage in ecological competence formation of the Mining Engineers students. In this thesis the structure, content, levels, criteria and indicators of ecological competence formation of the future Mining Engineers are developed; the model of usage geoinformation technologies as a tool of the Mining Engineers students environmental competence formation was theoretically grounded and developed; the geoinformation technologies usage technique, which led to the ecological competence formation of the future Mining Engineers was developed; the effectiveness of the developed technique at teaching students of mining specialties was experimentally proved.
