Abstract

The possibility of development of pupils’ creative thinking by means of computer simulation is substantiated. The expediency of introduction of the applicable optional course with the purpose of formation of the fundamentals of information culture is shown. Positive influence of such course on a level of personal creative achievements of pupils is affirmed experimentally. Methodical system of teaching fundamentals of computer simulation in accordance with positions of general didactics is worked out. Spreadsheets which do not demand efforts and time of pupils for creation of interface are taken as mean for initial studying of simulation. This allows to begin teaching the course much earlier than fundamentals of programming.
