Abstract
On the basis of empirical research the authors analyze the levels of the main characteristics of managers' administrative work in non-school educational institutions (competence, emotionality, exactingness and fairness). It was shown that non-school educational institutions had different types of organizational culture (power, role, task and person cultures), both in the real and ideal forms. The staff of non-school educational institutions were found to orient to the "progressive" types of organizational culture (person and task cultures). Certain types of non-school educational institutions' organizational culture were found to have statistically significant relationship with the levels of the main characteristics of managers' administrative work: a) all characteristics of administrative work (competence, emotionality, exactingness) had statistically significant links with two "extreme" types of organizational culture of non-school educational institutions - they positively affected the levels of person culture (a progressive culture) and negatively affected the levels of power culture (a conservative culture); b) managers' emotionality had a positive impact on the levels of task culture (a progressive culture). However, no statistically significant relationships were found between the main characteristics of managers' administrative work in non-school educational institutions and role culture, which, probably, suggests that role culture has a "special" status.
