Abstract

The article analyzes the historical context and social evolution of this definition. Managing the development of a vocational training institution requires to view the future of the institutional development of vocational education within the context of its integration into the global educational environment. This article also stresses the importance of such aspects of institutional development of vocational training institutions as building institutional capacity, development of mechanisms for reacting to current challenges and regional needs. Development of the interconnected labour and vocational educational services markets, contradictions and crisis of the educational system define the socioeconomic, psychological, pedagogical, scientific and technical criteria in managing training and production activities of the teaching staff.
