Abstract

The article deals with the need for VET institutions to conduct studies of the regional labour market as segmentation becomes the key instrument in the competition among VET institutions for future students. Forecasting the development of labour market is an important instrument for active dialogue between VET institutions and social partners as well as for cooperation with regional employment centres. It is also a key prerequisite for improving the functional efficiency of VET institutions.
