Abstract
The article considers the competence approach to the study of science in the primary school. Particular attention is paid to the formation informatychnoyi competence of pupils. Formulated the problem of information competence informatics teacher in elementary school. Found out why special attention should be paid during the formation of information competence of primary school pupils.
