Abstract
The author analyses possible destructive effects of information technologies on youth, complicating active usage of modern information and communication technologies in education. The main ones are: psychological and didactic, sanitary and hygienic, psychophysiological, social. ICT can be effective only if taking into consideration psychophysiological and psychological characteristics of students, system of diagnosis and correction important for learning and professional activity of individual qualities and human states. However, scientifically grounded informatiozation of the vocational education system, strengthening psychological and pedagogical support of this process, compliance with the sanitary norms of ICT makes a minimum negative impact of modern technologies on youth.
