Abstract
The article deals with the geometric, zoomorphic, anthropological and plant Ukrainian ornament imaginable and symbological system of which is needed to be considered in the process of professional competence of specialist of industrial manufacture formation. The symbolism of archetype signs of ornament and their folk names in different trades and crafts has been analyzed.
