Abstract

Еlaboration of methodology for creating the occupational standards and their implementation in state standards of vocational education for training skilled workers according to specific professions is a mechanism of qualitative regulation of vocational education for solving socio-economic public needs. Different approaches to development and application of occupational standards are under consideration. Connection between occupational standards, competencies and qualifications in foreign countries is traced. Methodology concerning elaboration of occupational standards in Ukraine is analyzed. Advantages of occupational standards implementation for labor market and education sphere, their role in formation of qualitative labor potential are defined. The article can be of great interest for workers of vocational schools, specialists, teachers, aspirants, employers.
