Abstract
The article is devoted to definition of the essence of global education, which is a component of professional training of contemporary teachers as subjects of 51 transnational education space. On the basis of analyze of international organizations' documents and national USA, EC initiatives the concept of global education has been characterized, the nature of teacher global competence has been exposed.
