Abstract
Thesis for the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Degree, specialty 13.00.10 – Information and Communication Technologies in Education. – Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAPS of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2016. The thesis is focused on the problems of the development of computer-based learning environment in terms of the multicultural education of students in the European Union. In a study based on comparative and pedagogical analysis of the use of computer-based learning environment singled out the basic directions and the stages of its development. The nature of the concepts of “multicultural competence of students”, “computer-based learning environment in terms of the multicultural education of students” is clarified. The analysis of theoretical approaches to problems of the development of computer-based learning environment in terms of the multicultural education of students is done. The content, forms, methods and tools for computer based learning environment in terms of the multicultural education of students are allocated and described. The model of computer based learning environment for forming multicultural competence of students developed and scientifically grounded. The recommendations on the use of electronic educational resources of computer-based learning environment in terms of multicultural education students are elaborated. The results of the pedagogical experiment confirm outlined in the thesis hypothesis and are the basis for conclusion: experimental verification of the model of computer based learning environment for forming multicultural competence of students is an effective, model deserves implementation in the educational process of secondary school.
