Abstract

The article substantiated actual problems of studying the content of a textbook as a complex cognitive system, which consists of poly-semiotic components. Disclosed verbal and paralinguistic components of poly-semiotic text, highlighted their importance as a factor in the development of communicative competence of students. Described structural and functional parameters of text components of the textbook. Discussed possible methods for research educational and scientific poly-semiotic texts of tutorial and their impact on educational communication.
