Abstract
In the article, a specific case is used for analyzing peculiarities of the process by which an educator overcomes his/her professional identity crisis. The author deals with the issue of reviewing and transformation of some important meanings and values resulting from familiarizing of the subject with new behavioral patterns, from their assimilation and integration in the structure of professional activity. An attempt is made to make use of not only psychological, but also purely narratological categories. Shown is the impact which the communicative situation of psychological interview makes on the axiological focusing and accentuating the discourse.
