Abstract

The book deals with the basic foundations of the establishment and functioning of the information space of digital libraries of scientific and educational institutions. Scientific and terminology creation and functioning of electronic libraries. The functional capabilities of electronic library. Described technology of digital libraries based software EPrints. Preconditions design and implementation of digital libraries of scientific and educational institutions, analyzed the international experience of creation and use of digital libraries, organizational and information support of scientific activities at the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. The peculiarities of training researchers and librarians to work with electronic libraries.
